Village Praxis: Drive the Right Rifle (AR/MSR): Upgrades Less Optics by Bill Buppert

“Something hit me very hard once, thinking about what one little man could do. Think of the Queen Elizabeth — the whole ship goes by and then comes the rudder. And there’s a tiny thing at the edge of the rudder called a trim tab. It’s a miniature rudder. Just moving the little trim tab builds a low pressure that pulls the rudder around. Takes almost no effort at all. So I said that the little individual can be a trim tab. Society thinks it’s going right by you, that it’s left you altogether. But if you’re doing dynamic things mentally, the fact is that you can just put your foot out like that and the whole big ship of state is going to go. So I said, “Call me Trim Tab.”

The truth is that you get the low pressure to do things, rather than getting on the other side and trying to push the bow of the ship around. And you build that low pressure by getting rid of a little nonsense, getting rid of things that don’t work and aren’t true until you start to get that trim-tab motion. It works every time. That’s the grand strategy you’re going for. So I’m positive that what you do with yourself, just the little things you do yourself, these are the things that count. To be a real trim tab, you’ve got to start with yourself, and soon you’ll feel that low pressure, and suddenly things begin to work in a beautiful way.”

Publisher’s Note: The Deep State is doing recon with Antifa and BLM.

Liberty in all traditional societies, that is the Greek sense of liberty, or in the Christian sense of liberty elsewhere, is a liberty of accomplishment.

The propaganda of the Left is inherently anti-reality; thus, any reading that is reality-based is anti-Left. (The same is true of science, for example–it is not just history. But any modern science work that touches on any controversial topic, such as sex or group differences, can obviously not be trusted, so picking works carefully here is even more important. Thus the triumph of scientism over empirical science in the latest common cold variant fiasco). Collectivists accept that the public has a right to constrain individual rights on behalf of society. When it comes to the right to bear arms or free speech, they believe society SHOULD step in and crush it for the public good (even if it’s misguided sometimes).

Yes, the response to the Chinese Communist Corona Pox (CCCP) from the “right” has been very disappointing. I live in AZ where Joe Biden’s lost mollusk-brother is Comrade-Governor Il Duchey who has proven spinal columns may be optional at birth.

I don’t really understand it; the Occam’s Razor explanation is that the people everywhere have been corrupted by safetyism and the war on masculinity. We can be certain that plans for this are already laid; the entire tactical program of the modern Left is to wait until some event happens that can be mendaciously used to whip up emotion (fabricated domestic coup; George Floyd’s death) and then cynically use it to implement an existing well-organized and well-funded plan to force through a political change, relying on a massive network of allied groups outside the inner circle to immediately coordinate and amplify when the plan is launched.

Once your able to shut people up through fear, intimidation or brainwashing, the race to the bottom begins whether of the economy or your trip bottom of the mass grave.

THEY WANT INSIDE YOUR HEAD.

Don’t let them.

You’ll notice wherever the U.S. government goes “nation building” creating new neo-imperialist shit-pits, they don’t spread the 2nd Amendment while forming governments.

108 shopping days until the next shambler stumbles into the Offal Office tripping on its puppet strings.

Rule 556 will be in force until further notice. -BB

A number of readers have contacted me on my recommendations for improvements and mods on a standard “modern sporting rifle” and while mission profile dictates considerable latitude in what you need, there are some basic considerations to make the rifle work in the situation we in the new spicy times may find ourselves. Start with a quality AR donor like Bravo Company or Daniel Defense or LMT. I am not a fan of rifles with a barrel length below 16′ because I think the Stoner design and performance standards of the 5.56 round require a longer barrel length. If the Stoner isn’t your cup of tea, there are plenty of other bloggers in the liberty ‘verse commentariat who can talk endlessly about improving your Galil, AK, FAL (been there, done that) and every other modern self-loader built for war with knowledge and enthusiasm (not necessarily in that order). I recently was asked by two friends to compile a short list of these mods. First of all, buy quality parts; if you have a ten dollar head, get a ten dollar helmet. Excepting one, all of my ARs are FDE  because I live in AZ and I don’t like black parts on a rifle. In the hanger wars, I have gone exclusively to M-LOK.

Minimum mods:

Midwest Industries or Odin Works Free Float hand guard 15″ or 17.5″; I use longer barrels as I mentioned and I also think the increased length optimizes body geometry for support arm and makes the kinematics of driving a rifle more effective in all vertical and horizontal dimensions forward of your line of sight. The free float hand guards also secure the barrel entirely at the barrel nut proximate the upper and lower receiver union putting zero flex on the barrel especially if you mount your sling (your support side) at 270deg snug to the barrel nut location.

Magpul UBR stock; yes, this is a heavy stock but there is none like it for lockup, strength and cheek weld consistency. The Generation1 weighs  approx 25oz and the Generation2 weighs approx 21oz. There are lighter stocks out there but none provide the strength of a fixed stock in a collapsible configuration like the UBR.

Magpul K2 pistol grip; a very good grip angle at a clean 17deg as vertical as one can get for a PG. The more vertical orientation makes for much better trigger press.

Magpul MLOK AFG; I will not use a vertical grip which has one primary purpose, retention in CQB but the ability to deploy the rifle properly in the prone is compromised severely. But I am a big believer in two components to use the support hand to drive the rifle. The first is the lightweight M-LOK AFG at 180deg as far forward on the rail as possible that you are comfortable with in concert with a “gas pedal” mounted at 270deg that you wrap your thumb around emulating the same thumb over thumb grip you employ on your Glock. The thumb rest will greatly extend retention and reduce fatigue without interfering with proper prone deployment of the rifle.

Magpul MS4 sling; I have written before on the power of the sling in gun handling and this is my go-to with the leading edge QD’d as described above (270deg forward of barrel nut) and the trailing edge (I am right handed) locked in at the stock detent at 90deg. If arranged this way, you won’t strangle yourself when you go to opposite shoulder during drills or two way ranges.

ALG ACT Trigger; yes, there are many fancy triggers but one pillar of my philosophy is KISS so I use this which is a more polished version of GI trigger so I am not surprised by the trigger behavior of Stoner orphans in battlefield pickup.

Extended Magazine Release from Odin Works or Radian; for my hands, I prefer not to rotate the grip on my strong hand from the trigger press and the extended release allows me to drop the magazine with minimal change in firing grip.

Ambi Safety/Fire from Odin Works or Radian (45deg); ambi is very convenient because it allows you to anticipate unexpected angles of and mechanics and the 45deg cuts your safety manipulation time in half.

Ambi LT charging handle from Radian or Strike Industries; the worst part of the Stoner design made better.

Maritime Bolt Catch; I wan the ability to palm strike the release and it helps in Conditions Red and Black when your gross motor skills start to decay and diminish.

Aftermarket set of BUIS F and R with the front sight HK style; I use these but Gun Jesus is making me think twice since he has developed a 5.5# Stoner with optics and saved weight by not having a BUIS. Someday….

Questions or anything I didn’t cover, ask in the comments.

Optics: we’ll save that discussion for another day but if you are not red dotting your rifles and pistols, you are missing out.

Village Praxis: Drive the Right Rifle: The M1 Garand by Bill Buppert

“Turkey is taking advantage of the war in order to thoroughly liquidate (grundlich aufzaumen) its internal foes, i.e., the indigenous Christians, without being thereby disturbed by foreign intervention. What on earth do you want? The question is settled. There are no more Armenians.”
-Talaat Pasha
“. . . the Armenian massacre was the greatest crime of the war, and the failure to act against Turkey is to condone it . . . the failure to deal radically with the Turkish horror means that all talk of guaranteeing the future peace of the world is mischievous nonsense.”
– Theodore Roosevelt

Publisher’s Note: The selection of the next Deep State puppet is weeks away. The Mango Emperor will win the electoral vote (my sole prediction) and depending on the extend of the perennial voter fraud that is a feature and not a bug in CPUSA machinations, the Human Mollusk may win the popular vote as Pantsuit Negan did in 2016. Who knows? That leaves essentially 94 shopping days for you to get loaded and locked for spicy times. While the materiel is important, your handling and effective employment of these tools is far more important. Invest the time.

Finishing Operation Nemesis about the expatriate Armenian effort to assassinate the Ottoman violence brokers responsible for the genocide of the Armenian nation in the second decade of the twentieth century. Lots of reminders on the efficacy of baselining tradecraft, keeping your mouth shut and operating across national borders. The exception being Soghomon Tehlirian who purposefully remained with the dead body of Talaat Pasha to get tried in a German Court to provide a planet-wide documented discovery portfolio of the Turkish slaughter of the innocents. Burning Tigris by Peter Balakian is a more grisly and detailed reflection on the genocide actual that seems to be an inspiration to later efforts by the Germans and Japanese in the War to Save Josef Stalin.

I’d like to offer two websites that publish smart reviews and commentary and more often than I (how hard is that?); Charles at Worthy House and Michael Scheuer at Non-Intervention. I had the pleasure of taking an “submersion course” in Islamic terrorism at which Michael was the sagacious and gracious mentor. Both of these learned gentleman take the deep dive and leave the reader informed and provoked in questioning the idiot reality the MSM tries to impose on us.e

Worthy House

Non-Intervention

I am continuing my study of the Greek, Irish and Spanish civil wars in anticipation of seeing history rhyme and forecasting what the cold civil war transitions to hotness will look like here in the next ten years. I will try to pen some essays on that very thing in the next few months.

2020 is not only the first year in human history that no one will die exclusively of old age but the Red Menace 2.0 is on the march. With the CPUSA paramilitaries achieving full deep state cover for their RevCom activities in the overt manifestations of BLM and Antifa, an idea has done actual physical harm in a corporeal form.

Just an idea.

Get to the range, your rifle won’t drive itself. Train like your life depends on it. Send it. -BB

“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.”
Jeff Cooper, Art of the Rifle

The Garand is my third line long arm after my MSRs and sweetened bolt guns. I love my Garand. The storied rifle is nearly a hundred years old but still a testament to great technology and craftsmanship. If only they got the caliber right (.260 Pederson) but weapons acquisition in the US has always been encumbered by general officers fighting the last war. The lack of a detachable magazine seals the weapon from the elements. Along the same lines, the Tikka civilian variant of the new C19 for the Canadian Rangers provides another alternative. And yes, I want a Robar stock but that can wait [is Robar still in business?].

She’s built for comfort, not for speed…

And yes, I love the BM59 [all hail Domenico Salsa and Vittorio Valle who managed a three year engineering design effort as opposed to the awful M14 twelve year program] but like the FG42, ahead of their time but now behind their time and bloody expensive.

I will be attending a professional course with my youngest son with a very cool and uber-competent OG operator in April 2021 and may run some of the course with my M1 Garand to get the lead out.  [h/t to Mark S, our local historian/armorer on retainer at Planet Zerogov]

Maintenance and troubleshooting:

Use grease!  Modern wheel bearing grease is great, specified is 130-A lithium. Grease the op-rod, the locking lugs, and the op-rod track.  A little dab on the back edge of the bolt is recommended. It’s an open action, so keep it clear!  Junk can get in there and cause a stoppage, good news is, it’s easy to clear.

To quote Tom Hanks in Private Ryan: “Keep the sand out of your actions, and I’ll see you on the beach”

For short stroking/failure to extract:

Check the gas cylinder lock screw and crank it down

Check the extractor, replace if worn or broken

Replace extractor spring

Bolt close on an empty chamber/failure to load:

Check/replace op-rod spring

Check for bent or worn follower arm

Fail to fire:

Check/replace firing pin

Check headspace

Clip ejects early:

Replace clip latch and clip latch spring

Other Bits:

Modern optics fall into three basic options, but the standard irons are some of the best ever made:

Pistol type red-dot replacing the rear sight assembly

Scout (pistol type) scope on a rail replacing the wooden handguard [replace with a  picatinny rail from Ultimak or Fulton Armory]. Before 1990, Jeff Cooper was right in putting a conventional scope with sufficient eye relief there but now the red dot revolution has made that an anachronism.

Armorer drill and tap receiver for an offset scope mount. This was the solution for the sniper versions M-1C and M-1D, but also requires a cheek pad to offset cheek weld for sight alignment. Technology has made this method obsolescent.

Modern carry options:

The M1 is a bit heavy (11lbs) and long for single point sling set ups, so best to stay with a two point rapid adjust like a Magpul, Vickers, Blue Force or Spectre.  The issue web sling is also serviceable, but limited.

Accessories:

Butt stock cleaning kit, the oiler, pull through, and combo tool is the most useful. The other options is the cleaning rod sections and integral combo tool, but it’s really second choice

Bayonet: The 10 inch models (M1) all date to WWII, the 6 (M5) inch is the most practical, and has much less effect on POI since it doesn’t use a barrel ring

Ammo belt, don’t bother, it’s a recycle of a turn of the last century cartridge belt, and limits hanging other useful bits on it. Throw your en blocs in a dump pouch or modify a slick MOLLE rig with attached 40mm grenades pouches and voila, Garand chest rig for plink-a-pinko.

En Bloc clips, try and stay with the original manufacturers, easiest is to buy milsurp ammo already in bandoliers

Ammo:

Use only ammo designed for the M-1, using modern hunting ammo WILL bend your op rod eventually. Older ammunition can be corrosive, YMMV.

There are a couple of gas cylinder lock screws that say they reduce pressure, but Gun Jesus tested them and found that to be mostly false. Exception is the components with a tap and screw that you have to adjust to each brand of ammo.

30.06 is readily available right now because of the lower ownership density of the M1 and the tendency of Fudd-owners to spurn large basic loads.

Ten Questions for Peter Quinones by Bill Buppert

Publisher’s Note: Another selection season for the national plantation owner is in full swing and I wanted to offer a gentle reminder that the Grand Old Politburo is a Menshevik to the full-blown Bolshevism of the modern Democratic Party. Starting in 1952 until 2008, there was always a Nixon or Bushevik in office who steeled the spine of government supremacism. Eisenhower is always mistakenly assumed to want less government and be a conservative and nothing could be further from the truth. Let the Generalissimo speak for himself.

“I have just one purpose, outside of the job of keeping this world in peace…and that is to build up a strong progressive Republican Party in this country. If the right wing wants a fight, they are going to get it. If they want to leave the Republican Party and form a third party, that’s their business, but before I end up, either this Republican Party will reflect progressivism or I won’t be with them anymore.”

The eminent Anthony Daniels eviscerates another progressive jeremiad in this review of the white racist theology that is evolving before our eyes:

“Perhaps the most interesting question raised by these books is why, when they are so badly written, self-indulgent, and intellectually nugatory, when they are so plainly written in the spirit of what Karl Popper called reinforced dogmatism, they should be so popular among the Western intelligentsia. Let us hope that this is not a question for an Edward Gibbon of the next millennium to answer.”

An intellectual civil war is brewing at Sandia Labs, the federal contractor for nuclear weapons research, as the employees there are subject to Bolshevik browbeating, paranormal beliefs and what can only be characterized as group seances wishing a false reality on what we all experience. Casey Peterson does a great job destroying the shambling shibboleths of  political correctness (excepting some police data that is wrong).

Bob Zimmerman shows the emperor has no clothes on the Peking Pox.

Until people defy that fear, and decide to tell politicians and their bosses to stop pushing it on them, we will continue to move inexorably towards tyranny and bankruptcy. You simply can’t have a free and prosperous society when everyone in it lives in terror, afraid to take any risks. More importantly, under such emotional conditions, bad people will quickly take advantage of that fear to impose their will, offering false security and fake protection even as they instead grab power for their own personal benefit.

Why communism always fails: “You can condition people to obey rules and regulations but you can’t condition them to create.”

Peter is known as Mance Rayder on Twitter and he and I had sparred side by side with government supremacists for years on the Tweeter until I finally pulled the plug last year on the cancerous bullhorn. He always struck me as a singular and penetrating mind on the side of freedom. He is the force behind the splendid new liberty documentary, “The Monopoly on Violence”. He hosts “The Freeman Beyond the Wall” podcast.

Get to the range. -BB

Who is Peter Quinones?

One of 7 or so billion on a rock hurtling through space. Most of my childhood was spent in the Bronx, NY where I learned how to fight and recognize a scam better than a lot of people. I moved to South Florida at 18 and over the next several years learned all of the things I didn’t want to do with my life but thankfully met my wife there. Since 2005 I’ve been in the Atlanta area and this is probably as close to the concept of home as I’ve ever experienced.

Your path to abolition, how did you get there?

I’ve always been a “rebel” but mostly by normie standards which pretty much means I’ve always been an asshole. Up until 9/11, I pretty much didn’t care about the State except for passing glances here and there. 9/11 caused some patriotic and statist feelings in me but I was level-headed enough to realize the wars were bullshit but I still bought into “if you don’t support the wars, how can you support the troops”? Seeing Ron Paul in 2007 say on a debate stage that the best way to support them is to bring them home was eye-opening but I was pissed at myself because of how simple it was and that I didn’t come to that conclusion on my own.

In 2016 I decided to get active promoting liberty on social media and started my podcast in 2017 which led to being approached about producing the documentary, “The Monopoly On Violence” which will probably be the major part of any legacy I’d be fortunate enough to have.

Why can’t the government supremacists and communists meme?

This may be changing at least from the Left’s perspective. A friend recommended I check out /leftypol/ and they are getting good at making memes to attack the Right with. I guess when you adopt an absurd cartoon character, former reality show host as your savior people who formerly had no sense of humor start to get the joke. And, IMO, if someone can’t meme it’s because they have no sense of humor when it comes to politics or anything “serious” so everything comes out like an essay over a picture. Or it just doesn’t make sense which is what rage/anger/frustration produces in people.

Did you ever imagine the communist vision would have the intellectual support and traction it does today in this century?

It’s funny because I’ve been reading a lot of Marx, Trotsky, Lenin and Stalin recently and I just don’t see it. What factions on the Left seem to be advocating for is a watered-down version of Trotskyism that later in the 20th century gets consumed by some far-right fascist movement. The Bolsheviks defeated their enemies because they had a very narrow plan that only included Russia where the recent history of Czarist persecution had made the working-class amenable to their message. And they were brutal. The average Antifa you see on the streets today would be put up against the wall by a Bolshevik as a LARPing incrementalism in the Menshevik tradition of appeasement and begging the throne for scraps. If the violence we see in cities continues, and the local or state governments don’t put an end to it, I see the Feds going in there and crushing them under their feet. From there you will see fascism (of course, another form of collectivism and even socialism) take over and I can’t say that will be much better for the average person who wants to just be left alone.

Is freedom and liberty ascendant anywhere on Earth?

In pockets. If I could move anywhere right now it would be Lichtenstein, Monaco, Andorra or maybe Luxembourg. I’d rather take my chances with a small population and a government/throne that has no real power. At this point, staying in America, the only liberty I see one having is through counter-economics. To get out of the system and earn what you need to live without paying taxes or putting yourself on the government radar. Those who desire real liberty or anarchy are going to have to experience it a piece here and there at a time. The age of Covid should be a signal to everyone that a system or location where anarchy will be the norm, is not going to happen anytime soon.

How did the Movie get started and funded? Will there be an extended director’s cut? Will you do more?

Chris Cofer came up with the idea to do a documentary highlighting anarchism and from the start we planned to show not only the brand that we subscribe to, but all major schools of anarchism over the centuries. Chris approached Robert Beeler first and then I was asked to come aboard. The first interviews were done in February 2019 and the last were done in January 2020. We released it on YouTube June 1st and it is currently in the queue at Amazon.

We crowd-funded it on social media. Facebook and Twitter. We hit our goal in 20 days and thankfully people kept donating because we radically under-estimated what it would take to make this.

There will be no extended cut but every interview will be available in its entirety on our YouTube channel, Stateless Productions.

We are in the planning stages of the next documentary right now but it is slow going as we’re still dealing with the release of TMOV.

Is the video medium a good transmission vector for liberty?

Video may be the best way to communicate right now. Unfortunately, most people have abandoned reading. Documentaries seem to have become very popular on the various streaming platforms so that’s the route we went. I’d hate to say “print is dead” but I can hear it screaming.

What may be the best way[s] to make liberty cool again for the under-40 crowd?

What immediately comes to mind is to reach out to women. If guys see women advocating for liberty they’ll come over and at least listen. Honestly, at this point, I’m sticking with preaching agorism. Some see it as edgy but some may also like the idea of keeping all that they earn. My listening audience has almost doubled since I started talking about it. Maybe those people were already over here but at least it’s something.

Recommended media [books, movies, documentaries, music, etc]?

My favorite economics book at the moment is “The Seen, the Unseen and the Unrealized” by Per Bylund. He condenses Human Action, Man Economy and State and Samuel Edward Konkin III into less than 200 pages. It’s fantastic. I’m also enjoying reading several books by post-modern philosophers but especially Gilles Deleuze.

In studying the Bolshevik Revolution, I watched three good movies that were about Russia during that time. The 1925 silent movie “The Battleship Potemkin” which is fantastic and based on true events. Nicholas and Alexandra from 1971 gives you a background into Czarist Russia leading up to the 1917 revolution and Reds from 1981 which is the true story of Americans John Reed and Louise Bryant who go to Russia to cover the revolution and end up getting involved. It’s a well-done movie and actually has Maureen Stapleton portraying Emma Goldman who gives the best speech in the movie.

I can only recommend one documentary at this time, mine.

Seismic Circus: Killer Clowns in Killer Cults by Bill Buppert

Publisher’s Note: Here’s an excellent dissection of the “woke” philosophy that is currently the new guise for Marxism and government supremacism.

Just finished Shattered Sword about both the Japanese and American perspectives on the Battle of Midway, highly recommended. Now I am reading Savage Continent  by Keith Lowe about Europe in 1944-1949 and it is eerily prescient of some of the nonsense we are experiencing right now.

Rule 556 and 308 will prevail in the end.

I recently did some re-purposing with guitar hangers to hang ARs on the wall and turned a Milwaukee tool case into a Glock container with some pluck-foam customized to fit. Turned out nicely. Would love some reader comments on how they have re-purposed things to other uses.

Also, I acted on this immediately, put ear protection near your bedside at night and in your vehicles if driving strapped. Your ears will thank you.

The New York Times actually did some journalism on Kenosha? The NY!? It appears the surviving member of the RevCom Bullet Trap Trio, Comrade Gaige Grosskreutz [apparently means super-sized fuck-stick in German], is 26 and still rides a skateboard. Don’t take a skateboard to a gun fight. That’s what I get out of it.

Young Kyle Rittenhouse’s sober demeanor and mature use of arms & tactical acumen is a credit to his family. He attempts to retreat. Is attacked by the first decedent (Comrade Rosenbaum, the pedophile). Fires in self defense, killing Comrade Rosembaum. Is pursued by a violent mob of 50 or so. He attempts to get out of there, discharging his duty to retreat. He is kicked the ground by a violent psychopath. He’s then attacked, while prone by Comrade Huber (arrested for battery, drugs and domestic violence) who strikes him in the head with a skateboard. Comrade Huber is shot and killed. Comrade Grosskreutz approaches, gun clearly visible in hand. As he raises the weapon, he’s shot in the arm. All visible, all recorded.

Comrade-Dr. Grosskreutz even said ” he regrets not being able to kill the teen”. Saint RafaÅ‚ Gan-Ganowicz is smiling beatifically from the Great Hall in Valhalla. He is rumored to have averred: “Well met, young Jason Rittenhouse, well met.”

Spliced timeline for Kenosha mayhem resulting in two good commies.

Very detailed timeline and analysis of Rittenhouse encounter.

The commies started the shooting on June 14, 2017 in Alexandria, VA.

So it begins…

-Kenosha
-Portland
-Seattle
-Chicago
-Minneapolis
-New York City
-Philadelphia
-Washington, D.C.

All run by the CPUSA…

Bolsheviks must destroy free speech otherwise their utopia can’t work hence the cancel culture, free speech bans and ambitions to burning books.

Vigilantism is nothing more than the rule of law throughout the entire course of human civilization and barbarism East and West, one may simply flag it as “ancillary justice”.  You will note that the burning, looting and mayhem plaguing CPUSA cities and states is nothing more than vigilantism in their eyes. Is the plundering, destruction and arson not in the name of ________ justice?

Newton’s Third Law is a serial killer motherfucker of cosmic dimensions historically.

Meanwhile in the People’s Rapacious Republic of Minneapolis, the burned out business owners better pay their taxes on destroyed businesses or else. Bolsheviks are visionaries. They always dream big nightmares.

H/T to Unsavoryagents for the photo of Comrade-Governor Gruesome.

Defund government police? Absolutely. Communism is impossible without a police state.

I have been to a variety of neo-imperialist shit-pits sponsored by the US planet-wide over the decades; that is coming home to a socialist anthill near you. These are all Balkan fore-shocks to the earthquake on the horizon. Prepare accordingly.

Get to the range. Your operative training question every time you go to the range is “why do I still suck?”. No ammo? Dry fire, learn tactical signals, walk with weight -BB

“The sheer variety of grievances that existed in 1945 demonstrates not only how universal the war had been, but also how inadequate is our traditional way of understanding it. It is not enough to portray the war as a simple conflict between the Axis and the Allies over territory. Some of the worst atrocities in the war had nothing to do with territory, but with race or nationality. The Nazis did not attack the Soviet Union merely for the sake of Lebensraum: it was also an expression of their urge to assert the superiority of the German race over Jews, Gypsies and Slavs. The Soviets did not invade Poland and the Baltic States only for the sake of territory either: they wanted to propagate communism as far westwards as they were able. Some of the most vicious fighting was not between the Axis and the Allies at all, but between local people who took the opportunity of the wider war to give vent to much older frustrations.”

― Keith Lowe, Savage Continent: Europe in the Aftermath of World War II

“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”

― George Orwell

“My own opinion is enough for me, and I claim the right to have it defended against any consensus, any majority, anywhere, any place, any time. And anyone who disagrees with this can pick a number, get in line, and kiss my ass.”

― Christopher Hitchens

“This is slavery, not to speak one’s thought.”

― Euripides, The Phoenician Women

“To criticize a person for their race is manifestly irrational and ridiculous, but to criticize their religion, that is a right. That is a freedom. The freedom to criticize ideas, any ideas – even if they are sincerely held beliefs – is one of the fundamental freedoms of society. A law which attempts to say you can criticize and ridicule ideas as long as they are not religious ideas is a very peculiar law indeed.

It all points to the promotion of the idea that there should be a right not to be offended. But in my view the right to offend is far more important than any right not to be offended. The right to ridicule is far more important to society than any right not to be ridiculed because one in my view represents openness – and the other represents oppression”

― Rowan Atkinson

“We forget that, although freedom of speech constitutes an important victory in the battle against old restraints, modern man is in a position where much of what “he” thinks and says are the things that everybody else thinks and says; that he has not acquired the ability to think originally – that is, for himself – which alone gives meaning to his claim that nobody can interfere with the expression of his thoughts.”

― Erich Fromm, The Fear of Freedom

“Ultimately, saying that you don’t care about privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different from saying you don’t care about freedom of speech because you have nothing to say.”

― Edward Snowden, Permanent Record

“In order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive.”

― Jordan B. Peterson

ABR (Antifa-BLM-RevCom) is on the march. In the end, the woke madness may be an antivenin of sorts. It will prove out once again that the socialist and communist experiment always ends badly.

The crux of the problem is the deliberate blending of the descriptive with the moral.

Everyone is afraid of speaking truthfully, but struggles to articulate exactly why, and this explanation accurately articulates the problem in a fantastically succinct single sentence.

This twisted government supremacist ideology has made descriptive statements an immoral action. In addition, the religious context that is bleeding into all woke [read Stalinist] orthodoxy is giving it the edge of fanaticism and lack of empiricism that drives it to its insane conclusions.

There is no tolerance for dissenting opinion, logic, history, truth, critical thinking, or reason among the young and old revolutionaries. Leftist narratives can’t stand the sunlight of open and honest debate but thrive in the shadows of censorship and the burning of heretics. Truth of moral agency, individual volition, non-aggression and self-defense mean nothing to the new communists. We are reliving a variation of 1930s Germany and the long and bloody history of communist abattoirs in the twentieth century.

The truth will out.

There are proximate causes and root causes; the root is the fount and source of the problem while the second- and third-order effects ripple out in the proximate waves. The core of the problem in society today is the refusal to pursue truth and permit the free exposition and exchange of ideas. The collectivists, government supremacists, liberals, conservatives and libertarian minarchists all worship at the same church. Their liturgy is the statist whip-hand to a lesser or greater extent over individual autonomy and their methods are the imposition or threat of violence or actual mayhem over others absent their direct consent. They have no rational argument that does include stealing people’s shit, telling them what to do on pain of death and mandatory serfdom on the government plantation, that is the platform.

The root of the contemporary problem is the muzzling of free speech across the spectrum whether the subtle tyranny of remaining mum at work for fear of the HR Stasi to the bat-shit crazy non-arguments university indoctrinated collectivists vomit out daily on every major media outlet and the fetid open sewers of social media from FaceBorg to Tweeter.

If one is a champion of infanticide, communism and human slavery, the world is your soapbox and every outlet will Goebbels-gargle your noxious rantings. Defend individual human freedom and reject the plantations and free-range zoos fondly and colloquially known as nation states and you are persona non grata. You are an un-person for thinking different.

Combine that attitude with the pigmentation bias against white people and you have the makings of spicy times ahead.

The dullards and credentialed serial killer aspirants that staff the universities and shit out the communard illiterates with worthless degrees have no rear view mirror historically nor any moral fiber to inform their perverse, economically illiterate and morally beggared worldview.

The sleeping giant is just waking up from a long slumber; he heard the Democrats whisper: “Here, hold my beer.”

“In his memoirs of the late 1940s and 50s, published after his death following the famous ‘umbrella assassination’ in London in 1978, the Bulgarian dissident writer Georgi Markov told a story that is emblematic of the postwar period – not only in his own country, but in Europe as a whole. It involved a conversation between one of his friends, who had been arrested for challenging a Communist official who had jumped the bread queue, and an officer of the Bulgarian Communist militia: ‘And now tell me who your enemies are?’ the militia chief demanded. K. thought for a while and replied: ‘I don’t really know, I don’t think I have any enemies.’ ‘No enemies!’ The chief raised his voice. ‘Do you mean to say that you hate nobody and nobody hates you?’ ‘As far as I know, nobody.’ ‘You are lying,’ shouted the Lieutenant-Colonel suddenly, rising from his chair. ‘What kind of a man are you not to have any enemies? You clearly do not belong to our youth, you cannot be one of our citizens, if you have no enemies! … And if you really do not know how to hate, we shall teach you! We shall teach you very quickly!’1 In a sense, the militia chief in this story is right – it was virtually impossible to emerge from the Second World War without enemies. There can hardly be a better demonstration than this of the moral and human legacy of the war. After the desolation of entire regions; after the butchery of over 35 million people; after countless massacres in the name of nationality, race, religion, class or personal prejudice, virtually every person on the continent had suffered some kind of loss or injustice. Even countries which had seen little direct fighting, such as Bulgaria, had been subject to political turmoil, violent squabbles with their neighbours, coercion from the Nazis and eventually invasion by one of the world’s new superpowers. Amidst all these events, to hate one’s rivals had become entirely natural. Indeed, the leaders and propagandists of all sides had spent six long years promoting hatred as an essential weapon in the quest for victory. By the time this Bulgarian militia chief was terrorizing young students at Sofia University, hatred was no longer a mere by-product of the war – in the Communist mindset it had been elevated to a duty.”

― Keith Lowe, Savage Continent: Europe in the Aftermath of World War II

Worst Best Time: Whistling Past the Graveyard by Bill Buppert

Publisher’s Note: Please take the time to go here and download every one of these publications before they are removed from general distribution.

Now.

Sure, history rhymes but you can benefit by seeing how other men made themselves into corpses. May be the morbid impulse that so attracts some men to the study of military history.

Recommend reading “The Wasp”.

If you haven’t watched the four seasons of “Black Sails”, you should.

Trump campaign stickers are wonderful tools when applied to property and vehicles. Use an adhesive like DELO-MONOPOX VE403728 give the gift that lasts. Your local Grand Old Politburo HQ may have some for free.

Communists aren’t human beings and your penchant for individual freedom is now your uniform. They wish you dead if you don’t bend the knee. You should consider what legacy you are leaving to your children.

Get to the range. -BB

“If you want government to intervene domestically, you’re a liberal. If you want government to intervene overseas, you’re a conservative. If you want government to intervene everywhere, you’re a moderate. If you don’t want government to intervene anywhere, you’re an extremist.”

“By today’s standards King George III was a very mild tyrant indeed. He taxed his American colonists at a rate of only pennies per annum. His actual impact on their personal lives was trivial. He had arbitrary power over them in law and in principle but in fact it was seldom exercised. If you compare his rule with that of today’s U.S. Government you have to wonder why we celebrate our independence..”

“Need’ now means wanting someone else’s money. ‘Greed’ means wanting to keep your own. ‘Compassion’ is when a politician arranges the transfer.”

“When you internalize an author whose vision or philosophy is both rich and out of fashion, you gain a certain immunity from the pressures of the contemporary. The modern world, with it’s fads, propaganda, and advertising, is forever trying to herd us into conformity. Great literature can help us to remain fad-proof.”

“When your child is a little older, you can teach him about our tax system in a way that is easy to grasp. Offer him, say, $10 to mow the lawn. When he has mowed it and asks to be paid, withhold $5 and explain that this is income tax. Give $1 to his younger brother, and tell him that this is “fair”. Also, explain that you need the other $4 yourself to cover the administrative costs of dividing the money. When he cries, tell him he is being “selfish” and “greedy”. Later in life he will thank you.”

― Joseph Sobran

I have no political country. I am neither left nor right, both are virulent forms of government supremacism that lead to the same ruin of individual liberty. As I have said, democracy is simply the eradication of cannibals by eating them; eventually, government, every government, must extinguish uncontrolled liberty wherever it may be found. Joe Sobran was fired by William F. Buckley at National Review when he realized that no man is fit to rule another without consent and not through the soft totalitarian trappings of democracy and dared to say it out loud.

Sobran said it best: “The measure of the state’s success is that the word anarchy frightens people, while the word state does not.” Even the communists, the Neo-Puritans of government supremacism and the maximum state, have commandeered a word [anarchism] that simply means no man is ruled absent his express consent.

The USA is a sophisticated plantation but a serfdom nonetheless. You bend the knee not like the sports-ballers when the American socialist anthem sounds prior to their well-paid but silly vocations but you are supine before a house of rules whose majority of edicts declare the state as the sole victim. The length of a barrel on a defensive firearm has already been the bare pretense of plenty of violence exercised by the state against men and women just conducting their lives.

Taxes are not the price we pay for civilization nor is the “rule of law” the absence of barbarism. Both are hallmarks of the quaintly named politician who is merely a thinly disguised violence broker.

Excepting Ron Paul, can you name a single politician in your lifetime you would trust babysitting your kids much less being what is essentially your velvet-gloved gaoler? Every state is simply a free range prison.

Ironically, Antifa and BLM are simply cops without state sanction yet but they are the vanguard and champion of everything both parties hold dear: the Democrats are simply more brazen about their embrace of the communist ideals and the invertebrate Mensheviks in the Grand Old Politburo are cravenly curled on the floor at their feet. No matter who occupies the Offal Office, the government always gets bigger, more predatory and increases the pound of flesh it exacts from its supplicants across the fruited plain.

The beginning of the end was the ratification of the Constitution and the nails in the coffin of any individual freedom and liberty was the first government schools. States passed laws to make schooling compulsory between 1852 (Massachusetts) and 1917 (Mississippi). Once the state commands most of the waking hours of the young minds and the remainder of time they’re prisoners to electronic screens, the slaves no longer believe they are captives. The existential Stockholm Syndrome writ large that is the state simply sees you as a battery, a disposable battery, eminently replaceable.

Fear and obedience is the brick and mortar of the state.

Resistance is fertile.

“The real triumph of the state occurs when its subjects refer to it as “we,” like football fans talking about the home team.”

― Joseph Sobran

A Nation at War by Usarmyretiredsgm

“Anthony Howard, then editor of the left-wing New Statesman, once pointed out that if Huey Long had only used left-wing phraseology he would have enjoyed wide support from the New York and London intelligentsia.”

Robert Conquest, Reflections on a Ravaged Century

Publisher’s Note: Ladies and gentleman, America is now an apartheid state, again. The government has played their hand and shown that they will not only step aside to encourage it but they will look the other way whenever their demented pets in the media and academia. The long communist march march through the institutions that saw a similar apogee in the 1930 when official CPUSA strength above board was massive. One should note that the twentieth century communist movement in the Democratic Party has always been a cozy relationship. So close that Henry Wallace was running on the Democratic ticket in 1948 and was endorsed by the CPUSA who chose to not to run a candidate that year because fit Comrade Henry fit the bill. You may recall Wallace was FDR’s VP.

I just watched the movie, “Mr. Jones”, and highly recommend it. It is in a nutshell a story that deserves wider exposure to show that the rot in American journalism goes back over a hundred years when it comes to defending communism and its derivative barbarisms. It portrays Walter Duranty as the evil and conniving New York Times communard apologist he was. He even got a Pulitzer Prize for Stalin stooge reporting. He covered up famine, death and countless crimes against humanity to protect his precious fever-dream of communism, the modern NYT continues the proud and loathsome tradition.

Nothing changes, huh?

We are all Rhodesians now.

Get to the range.

The author of the guest post served with me in Afghanistan.

We are a nation at war, whether ready to accept it or not, it is upon us. What happens in the near future will determine not only our country’s fate, but the world as a whole.  If you doubt this then I can only surmise you are one of our enemies or simply one of the dumbed down useful idiots, the powers that be are utilizing to advance their agenda.  What we determined as normal at the beginning of 2020 will never return, without much loss of life.

The war is one of design by globalist who have been hell bent on destroying this country since Woodrow Wilson was “president”.  Make no mistake, their plan is a long game rapidly coming to a climax, whether one is onboard or reticent about the outcome makes no difference.  The events of this year pulled back the curtain on the activities of the power brokers whose sole purpose is to destroy the working class and subjugate us to the wills of those individuals behind this activity.  The goal is the elimination of our remaining freedoms and ensuring we are nothing more than tax cattle whose sole purpose is to feed the state.

The concept of an oligarchy with the ability to guide the world to their desires has been debated by many over the past has now manifested itself as a reality.  The argument against this possibility was the government is populated with drones incapable of organizing a concerted overthrow of the people’s rights.   The idea this action was impossible is because of the incompetence of a government’s ability to coordinate these efforts.  This is bigger than the US government.  This is a global takedown, i.e. WHO, CDC, CIA, FBI, NSA, British monarchy, Chinese, MI6, the EU and many other institutions and governments.  The lies perpetrated on the world’s population are so large as to be virtually inconceivable to most rational human beings, but here we are in the middle of a world-wide coup of the freedoms which formally existed.  Those freedoms are long gone.  These nefarious powers are in the execution phase of their final plan.  Submit or die is the order of the day.  The news of the day is replete with examples of this order.  Put on that mask, stay home, do not travel, no bars, no freedom of religion, cashless society, cancel culture, Antifa, BLM, etc, ad naseum.

The useful idiots, Antifa and BLM, tools of this movement are prime movers in the destruction of our culture and way of life.  It is difficult to attribute any rational thought to the individuals in these movements.  The demographics of these groups highlight the ability to utilize these people in pursuit of the globalist goals.  There are two clear groups of individuals which make up the BLM and Antifa.  Both of them are products of our government, the welfare class and the degreed but uneducated class.  The state has created both of these groups with their policies.  Keep the poor in their state through managed welfare, fake education and false promises of change after the “next” election.  Those changes never come.  Examine where this particular group draws it members, democrat-controlled cesspools of poverty and destruction.  The uneducated degree holders of Antifa are a product of an education system bent on elimination of our history and socialist/communist indoctrination of our youth.  This has been taking place for well over 45 years.  Children are sent off to “educators” to learn how to survive as adults and how to be productive citizens.  The education system is using this time to force feed every manner of socialism and behaviors designed to destroy the social fabric of the country.  Then off to the universities (Communist finishing Schools) to finalize the indoctrination.  These degreed uneducated students then, in large numbers, leave the institutions of higher learning with useless degrees and tens of thousands of dollars in debt and a belief the rest of us “owe” them.  They utilize “colonialism” tactics in these two groups, and no one notices or at least mentions it out loud.  The Antifa, degreed uneducated, mostly white liberals, are installed in the midst of the BLM movement and are clearly the leaders during these riots.  This is old school tactics of placing colonial leaders in the midst of the indigenous population to control the actions during these riots.  BLM screams about systemic racism but allows Antifa activists to give them their marching orders during these riots.  The managing class simply pulls back and lets these riots continue and file charges against the law-abiding population when it resists.

The rest of us watch and wonder where all this going to take us as this continues to unfold.  Is there a way to turn this around?  I once thought we had a chance at the voting booth but due to voter fraud this seems less than viable.  We watched a duly elected President assaulted from all corners during the last four years, unprecedented.  One does not have to like Trump but if we take this as the way of the future then what is left for us but to resist?

We are currently in a one-sided war because the majority of the country cannot believe what they are witnessing as these riots take place and the governments retreat into their “safe” spaces.  The time is coming when this narrative must change, and the reaction of the silent majority will not be as many imagine.  Just look at how we arrived in this current (2020) crisis, a manufactured pandemic to lock down society and destroy the economy.  The ultimate goal, defeat Trump, and move the socialism/communist agenda forward.  When one crisis begins to subside, another is created.  We are now being pitched against each other as never before.  We are currently in an attack on anything white, or so they wish us to believe.  Yes, it is true we as whites are currently a prime target, but the true target is what’s left of any semblance of freedom in this country.  Make no doubt about it, this is a real war and there will be winners and losers.  Where and when the silent majority stand up and fight back is and may be the question for the ages.  We may have lost the chance already; one cannot know the future.  What will the historians of the future write when they discuss the fall of the American “empire”?  When did we become too weak to stand up for our rights?  What will our children and grandchildren say of us as they slave under the global yoke?

We live in most dangerous times and what we do will determine the course of history.  As the old saying goes, you can vote your country into socialism/communism but there is only one way out.  Lead Implants.  Choose wisely and remember timing is everything.  Today you may be considered criminal for certain responses, in the near future, a patriot.  Keep your circle small.

The Unbearable Whiteness of Being by Bill Buppert

Publisher’s Note: Close the schools, every one of them. There is an opportunity here as some of the laziest people in human history, teachers in K-PhD, demand and clamor to retain their salary and benefits which have always been far more generous than they should thanks to unions and tenure for teachers and professors respectively. And these shiftless people also bear most of the responsibility for the intellectual wasteland that is the brainpower of three generations. Taking seriously the notion that the War to Save Josef Stalin made the world safe for communism, the entire American education took that on as a mission statement.

And here we are.

This about sums it up. Rod Serling was a seer.

Is the education establishment primarily responsible for the disaster that is 2020 for free range humanity? No, root cause has many parents. Critical thinking skills and the wherewithal to question authority has taken a long sleep in today’s Amerika.

Defund universities and the police, that’s a good start. Everything government funds is poisonous and turns whatever it touches to shit.

Government is the maximalist application of moral injury on a wholesale scale.

You can thank half a century of climate alarmism based on nonsense, non-science, communist fever-dreams and the elevation of “experts” as the gateway drug to the deluded opium den delusions of the Peking Pox and its weaponization to game political power.

Then the floodgates open as yet another victim of government policing assumes room temperature and the usual suspects in the government supremacist industry stoke the fires and spin the tires to behave destructively and predictably in the urban hives run by the CPUSA for decades.

All of this frisson and fire may magically evaporate if Comrade Joe and his bloated VP-thing manage to commit enough fraud to stuff the ballots for the Party that gave us the KKK, segregation, lunch tables, lynching, Jim Crow, the Great Society and the entry into every major conflict in the twentieth century until 1980.

The Democrats as a party were founded to protect chattel slavery. Nothing has changed, the plantation boundaries and legal niceties have changed.

In the end, left and right are an illusion as I have tirelessly opined but the Left [if I suspend my belief in self-assignation], they are the real plantation owners and leave right wing aspiration to owning human cattle in the dust. Just think of all the former inmates from totalitarian countries and their children that have come to America to be free and now they see the nightmare begin anew. I can only imagine the horror.

 Masks.

What tyrannical nonsense and that is where we live today. And keep in mind that the Karens of both sexes who call you out for not wearing a mask is not due to health concerns, but you don’t share their imperial conditioning. Nor do they have any faith their mask will protect them. Curiouser and curiouser. Prove me wrong.

The Peking Pox peaked in April according to even the Fedgod.

Remember, if you oppose human slavery, communism and/or infanticide, you are now an enemy of the people. Burn that into your brain.

Per weapons, remember that every FFL dealer is a non-funded BATFE field office and their business depends on their Vichy collaboration with the agency that has brought you so much death and destruction. The F-Troop has so many informants now, they have Federal Form 3252.2.

…and get OFF social media. Social media, like the urinalists in the media, is a free range asylum.

In better news, have you listened to Pat Metheny’s latest album, “From This Place”? If not, you should.

While I am loathe to ban comments, any anti-semitism will be shunted to the trash. There are many places on the ‘net where you can spew and vent with abandon frothing with like-minded nitwits. Not here.

Been to the range lately? -BB

“We would have been very (loath) to hurt the feelings of our fellow Jews, by going to a land that would exterminate them if it could.”

 — Sammy Luftspring and Norman “Babe” Yack (Canadian-Jewish boxers), July 6, 1936

“But the one great shocking occasion, when tens or hundreds or thousands will join with you, never comes. That’s the difficulty. If the last and worst act of the whole regime had come immediately after the first and smallest, thousands, yes, millions would have been sufficiently shocked—if, let us say, the gassing of the Jews in ’43 had come immediately after the ‘German Firm’ stickers on the windows of non-Jewish shops in ’33. But of course this isn’t the way it happens. In between come all the hundreds of little steps, some of them imperceptible, each of them preparing you not to be shocked by the next. Step C is not so much worse than Step B, and, if you did not make a stand at Step B, why should you at Step C? And so on to Step D.

And one day, too late, your principles, if you were ever sensible of them, all rush in upon you. The burden of self-deception has grown too heavy, and some minor incident, in my case my little boy, hardly more than a baby, saying ‘Jewish swine,’ collapses it all at once, and you see that everything, everything, has changed and changed completely under your nose. The world you live in—your nation, your people—is not the world you were born in at all. The forms are all there, all untouched, all reassuring, the houses, the shops, the jobs, the mealtimes, the visits, the concerts, the cinema, the holidays. But the spirit, which you never noticed because you made the lifelong mistake of identifying it with the forms, is changed. Now you live in a world of hate and fear, and the people who hate and fear do not even know it themselves; when everyone is transformed, no one is transformed. Now you live in a system which rules without responsibility even to God. The system itself could not have intended this in the beginning, but in order to sustain itself it was compelled to go all the way.”

― Milton Sanford Mayer, They Thought They Were Free: The Germans 1933-45

“Totalitarian politics—far from being simply antisemitic or racist or imperialist or communist—use and abuse their own ideological and political elements until the basis of factual reality, from which the ideologies originally derived their strength and their propaganda value—the reality of class struggle, for instance, or the interest conflicts between Jews and their neighbors—have all but disappeared.”

“As far as the Jews were concerned, the transformation of the “crime” of Judaism into the fashionable “vice” of Jewishness was dangerous in the extreme. Jews had been able to escape from Judaism into conversion; from Jewishness there was no escape. A crime, moreover, is met with punishment; a vice can only be exterminated.”

“A fundamental difference between modern dictatorships and all other tyrannies of the past is that terror is no longer used as a means to exterminate and frighten opponents, but as an instrument to rule masses of people who are perfectly obedient. Terror as we know it today strikes without any preliminary provocation, its victims are innocent even from the point of view of the persecutor. This was the case in Nazi Germany when full terror was directed against Jews, i.e., against people with certain common characteristics which were independent of their specific behavior. In Soviet Russia the situation is more confused, but the facts, unfortunately, are only too obvious. On the one hand, the Bolshevik system, unlike the Nazis, never admitted theoretically that it could practice terror against innocent people, and though in view of certain practices this may look like hypocrisy, it makes quite a difference. Russian practice, on the other hand, is even more “advanced” than the German in one respect: arbitrariness of terror is not even limited by racial differentiation, while the old class categories have long since been discarded, so that anybody in Russia may suddenly become a victim of the police terror. We are not concerned here with the ultimate consequence of rule by terror—namely, that nobody, not even the executors, can ever be free of fear; in our context we are dealing merely with the arbitrariness by which victims are chosen, and for this it is decisive that they are objectively innocent, that they are chosen regardless of what they may or may not have done.”

― Hannah Arendt, The Origins of Totalitarianism

“As a form of neurosis, race-conscious nationalism almost always ignores logic and knowledge: In the East European civil wars between 1918 and 1920 Jews were slaughtered for a variety of contradictory reasons, as capitalists and as communists, as friends of the Ukrainians, as Polonophiles, as pro-German-just as it suited the circumstances.”

Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, Leftism Revisited: from de Sade and Marx to Hitler and Pol Pot

“Except for Christianity, the Nazis reject as Jewish everything which stems from Jewish authors. This condemnation includes the writings of those Jews who, like Stahl, Lassalle, Gumplowicz, and Rathenau, have contributed many essential ideas to the system of Nazism. But the Jewish mind is, as the Nazis say, not limited to the Jews and their offspring only. Many “Aryans” have been imbued with Jewish mentality—for instance the poet, writer, and critic Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, the socialist Frederick Engels, the composer Johannes Brahms, the writer Thomas Mann, and the theologian Karl Barth. They too are damned. Then there are whole schools of thought, art, and literature rejected as Jewish. Internationalism and pacifism are Jewish, but so is warmongering. So are liberalism and capitalism, as well as the “spurious” socialism of the Marxians and of the Bolsheviks. The epithets Jewish and Western are applied to the philosophies of Descartes and Hume, to positivism, materialism and empiro-criticism, to the economic theories both of the classics and of modern subjectivism. Atonal music, the Italian opera style, the operetta and the paintings of impressionism are also Jewish. In short, Jewish is what any Nazi dislikes. If one put together everything that various Nazis have stigmatized as Jewish, one would get the impression that our whole civilization has been the achievement only of Jews.”

― Ludwig von Mises, Omnipotent Government

If you read the last sentence of von Mises quote above, it parallels what passes for “wokeness” today.

Replace all the white and whiteness talk with the word Jew or black and step into a time machine back to the 1930s in Germany or the American South respectively and things ring very familiar. Imagine that we live in a world where the pigmentation that happens to coincide with Christendom, expanded human freedom in commerce and most scientific advances are systemically racist? The word racist has been bandied about with such abandon and furor it means nothing now.

We can all guess whose skin and gender has no legal protection in the corporate world much less the corridors of government power. Imagine a world in which your entire worldview is set on destruction of the dominant paradigm that you will replace with an economic framework that puts all power in the hands elected and mostly unelected apparatchiks because we all know that free markets can’t deliver bear the death, destruction and poverty that communism can. Communism is for two kinds of people: psychopaths and college graduates. And it always ends the same way without exception. Mass deprivation, starvation, destruction and death and the lies; the mountains of untruth, delusion and constant re-framing of the same fundamental question: why are we so fucked no matter how many regulations, diktats and statistics we manipulate.

Because central planning has never worked. The genius of free markets is the atomization of the answers whether worthy or not in ten of millions of daily decisions made by free men using prices [subjectivist marginalist price theory] to rationally allocate resources and time. Once the bureaucrat destroys that system by employing guns instead of specie, you end up with history’s boneyard (figuratively and literally) of communist and socialist shit-pits extant and dead.

We live in a world whose warp and weft are not intersected but bundled under both real and illusory oppression.

You are not an individual human whose identity is dictated by your pluck, persistence, intelligence, luck and work ethic. You are now merely a meat marionette with a carbon armature whose skin tones and groin tackle determine everything that makes you human.

This may be the latest variant in the ambition to make every human on Earth a more effective widget in the planetary government supremacist ecology.

Welcome to Communism 2.0 or homo Sovieticus beta.

To paraphrase Michael Collins, your refusal is your most powerful weapon. You owe it to your children but I did just pick up a mask in Rhodesian brushstroke.

Prepare accordingly.

“It has often been said that anti-Semitism is the socialism of fools; it would be more accurate to say that socialism is the anti-Semitism of intellectuals…”

― Theodore Dalrymple

Police Academy: The Totalitarian Trail of Tears by Bill Buppert

“The fall of moral civilization has always been brought about by those who were “just doing their jobs”.”

― Jeremy Grantham

Publisher’s Note:  Welcome to the new and improved ZeroGov. Protected for now from the vagaries and barbaric sensibilities of the Robespierres of the Silicon Slavers.

A few thoughts.

The fate of statuary in America is not a big concern of mine but I do think one erases any history at your peril, witness the astonishing whitewashing of the sole Democratic party ownership of slavery in the US, lynching, the KKK, Jim Crow, segregation, lunch counters and on and on. My solution is the government stops funding art for and to itself and sell every last remaining statue at fire sale prices to private investors who will then remand it to private property where theft or vandalism becomes…problematic.

You must get to the range, you must develop a core team of trusted individuals who can assist you in the coming spicy time. You must tend to your kit. You must take every article of camouflage fabric you have in your closet to “stand to” and bury it. You must use drab mono-colors on all your ready gear.

The coming conflict will be “suit and tie” like Michael Collins. You will not wear a uniform, your uniform will be what you go to work or to the beach or hiking and you must plan appropriately carry the minimalist kit to defend yourself or tend to your “wasp” duties.

Take advantage of the ridiculous mask-wearing regime to lower your profile. Wear sunglasses and ballcaps or boonies.

Get to the range, get your kit in order and get your health and fitness up to seed for the coming spicy times. I have written extensively and referenced smarter people than I on what to get and how to train.

I am hoping the present over-reach and radicalization of the communists in America this summer leads to a new Thermidor. Peter McPhee gives a delightful overview of the dénouement of the French Revolution in 1794 in his magisterial essay, “The White Terror” in A Companion to the French Revolution on pages 359–377.

It was and will be delicious in the Second Act unveiling here in Amerika.

In other news, I received a sample  Faraday Bag from a reader who produces them a month ago. I normally use a Mission Darkness Faraday bag but this one not only performed on par with it but had the unique feature of actually being able to view the device in the bag to confirm visually it was still “locked out” of service. I highly recommend them. Just went to lunch with friends and the bag held 5x smartphones and didn’t blink. If you don’t think you need to practice better communications hygiene, you are not paying attention.

Comments. I love comments and I will not patronize a site like the commies at “The Atlantic” who have none. Recently, “The Federalist” in a cowardly nod to collectivist angst pulled their comments function which had been described by the usual Marxoid pearl-clutchers as racist [fill-in-the-black]. How easily the conservative intelligentsia crumples before the onslaught of faculty lounge witches and millennial women of both sexes who wear their underwear way too tight.

Fuck them. Don’t accept comments? Your site is a propaganda organ and nothing else.

Please get in touch with me on any improvements you may wish to see at the site. I am trying to improve the search function and maybe even have a blogroll. -BB

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

― Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn , The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

“I live in the Managerial Age, in a world of “Admin.” The greatest evil is not now done in those sordid “dens of crime” that Dickens loved to paint. It is not done even in concentration camps and labour camps. In those we see its final result. But it is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voices. Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the office of a thoroughly nasty business concern.”

– C.S. Lewis, The Screwtape Letters

“Perhaps it was true a century ago—I deeply regret that it is no longer true—but the United States criminal justice system long ago lost any legitimate claim to the loyal cooperation of American citizens. You cannot write tens of thousands of criminal statutes, including many touching upon conduct that is neither immoral nor dangerous, write those laws as broadly as you can imagine, scatter them throughout the thousands of pages of the United States Code—and then expect decent law-abiding, unsuspecting citizens to cooperate with an investigation into whether they may have violated some law they have never even heard about. The next time some police officer or government agent asks you whether you would be willing to answer a few questions about where you have been and what you have been doing, you must respectfully but very firmly decline.”

*

“If a police officer encounters you in one of those moments, he or she has every right to ask you two simple questions. Memorize these two questions so you will not be tempted to answer any others:

Who are you?

What are you doing right here, right now?

If you are ever approached by a police officer with those two questions, and your God-given common sense tells you that the officer is being reasonable in asking for an explanation, don’t be a jerk.”

― James Duane, You Have the Right to Remain Innocent

“That concentration camps were ultimately provided for the same groups in all countries, even though there were considerable differences in the treatment of their inmates, was all the more characteristic as the selection of the groups was left exclusively to the initiative of the totalitarian regimes: if the Nazis put a person in a concentration camp and if he made a successful escape, say, to Holland, the Dutch would put him in an internment camp. Thus, long before the outbreak of the war the police in a number of Western countries, under the pretext of “national security,” had on their own initiative established close connections with the Gestapo and the GPU [Russian State security agency], so that one might say there existed an independent foreign policy of the police. This police-directed foreign policy functioned quite independently of the official governments; the relations between the Gestapo and the French police were never more cordial than at the time of Leon Blum’s popular-front government, which was guided by a decidedly anti-German policy. Contrary to the governments, the various police organizations were never overburdened with “prejudices” against any totalitarian regime; the information and denunciations received from GPU agents were just as welcome to them as those from Fascist or Gestapo agents. They knew about the eminent role of the police apparatus in all totalitarian regimes, they knew about its elevated social status and political importance, and they never bothered to conceal their sympathies. That the Nazis eventually met with so disgracefully little resistance from the police in the countries they occupied, and that they were able to organize terror as much as they did with the assistance of these local police forces, was due at least in part to the powerful position which the police had achieved over the years in their unrestricted and arbitrary domination of stateless and refugees.”

“…the consequences of this shift of emphasis from the police to the military in the power game were of great consequence. It is true, ascendancy of the secret police over the military apparatus is the hallmark of many tyrannies, and not only the totalitarian; however, in the case of totalitarian government the preponderance of the police not merely answers the need for suppressing the population at home but fits the ideological claim to global rule. For it is evident that those who regard the whole earth as their future territory will stress the organ of domestic violence and will rule conquered territory with police methods and personnel rather than with the army. Thus, the Nazis used their SS troops, essentially a police force, for the rule and even the conquest of foreign territories, with the ultimate aim of an amalgamation of the army and the police under the leadership of the SS.”

― Hannah Arendt, The Origins of Totalitarianism

I remember writing for some local rag in Tennessee in the 1990s pressing for folks to get their heads examined in their unadorned love and affection for political police forces. If a dime of state money funds a police agency, it is de facto and de jure a political police mechanism. Politicians are violence brokers, they just managed to massage the vocabulary to get their real jobs buried under the linguistic confetti of Mom and apple pie. There is not a politician in existence across the spectrum who doesn’t mean you harm if you don’t bend a knoee and comply and obey.

Not one…even the clown posse in the Libertarian Party.

Of course we should defund and defang the police, they have been a clear and present danger to all human liberty since they were foisted on the hapless subjects in the American plantation in the urban centers in the 1800s. Now we have a mass movement of communists in the US wanting to “defund the police” but they don’t really mean what they are saying because whatever destruction of the 19,000 police infestations they dismantle, they will reflag or erect a new policing and enforcement system that will be a clever hybrid of the secret police mechanisms so common in communist countries with a chaser of secular Sharia that will make the Saudi Arabian religious police look the Keystone Cops. Call it what you will: communism, socialism, environmentalism, neo-conservatism, government supremacism and on and on, no matter the label the usual suspects wish to put you and yours on a plantation where you will be monitored, regulated, exacted and when necessary, culled.

So far, my friend Brian  at Fatal Encounters has identified over 28,000 corpses stacked up by the American police since January 1st, 2000. I remind everyone that this number is low due to mis-, non- and under-reporting and only covers the free range targets outside the vast penal system in the country.

Unless you are a government supremacist, the cop will never be your friend and always your enemy.

You need to wrap your head around the fact that the cops have never been there to protect freedom, they have never been a thin blue line to stop barbarism. They have been the Leninist vanguard to advance every scrap of government ambition to expand and interfere with every notion you have of living free and being a productive member of your family. I already spoke to this in my last blog post.

You are on your own and no one is coming to save you.

History does not have any examples of government making your life better. None. You simply trade one predator for another.

Free markets aren’t a species of economics, it is the baseline of all human behavior despite what the communists in the Long March Through American Institutions are telling you via all their captured propaganda nodes in the media and the “universities” (ask yourself: what is the opposite of diversity?). Every other economic theory or train of thought has one goal in mind: the complete sublimation of your atomized behavior to be puppeteered by the coercive controls in place enforced by a police mechanism. I made that easy for you.

In recent history, the Great War in 1914 started thanks to the Gavrip Princip[le] where a young Bosnian Serbian Nationalist accidentally ran into the car carrying the Archduke and his wife and his two rounds were the communist shot heard ’round the world that set the stage for the slow motion car crash that would make the world safe for communist domination in 1945 at the close of the Second Act of the War to Save Government Supremacism (1938-1945). We even see the Germans inject the communist bacillus into the body of Russia on the armored train when they injected V.I. Lenin into the system. The rest is blood-drenched history. What you are seeing this summer is a culmination of over a century of shaping the conditions for the creation of a prison planet. The combination of many factors to include the government indoctrination of the young in K-PhD in the vast indoctrination complex yielded entire generations of humans whose critical thinking skills were negligible and were innumerate and illiterate on an industrial scale making for perfect fodder for political manipulation as enthusiastic if not willing serfs so sensitive a stray word could send them to the fainting couches.

A word.

So enjoy the decline, those of you who have championed the police or reflexively defended their barbarism, you get what you deserve.

Ride the wave, Buttercup, we are to blame for this along with every other man going back to the Founding that tolerated this state of affairs.

“So what is the answer? How can you stand your ground when you are weak and sensitive to pain, when people you love are still alive, when you are unprepared?

What do you need to make you stronger than the Interrogator and the whole trap?

From the moment you go to prison you must put your cozy past firmly behind you. At the very threshold, you must say to yourself: “My life is over, a little early to be sure, but there’s nothing to be done about it. I shall never return to freedom. I am condemned to die—now or a little later. But later on, in truth, it will be even harder, and so the sooner the better. I no longer have any property whatsoever. For me those I love have died, and for them I have died. From today on, my body is useless and alien to me. Only my spirit and my conscience remain precious and important to me.”

Confronted by such a prisoner, the Interrogation will tremble.

Only the man who has renounced everything can win that victory.”
